Mr Heston played the best and most memorable characters from the greatest movies of my childhood. When I think of Moses or John the Baptist crying in the wilderness they'll always have Chuck Hestons face. I'm always happy to think that Ben Hur, even though he is a fictional character, will live on as the man that had the human kindness to show Jesus Christ, the lamb of God, a bit of compassion and quince his thirst.

If the series are somehow connected the only explanation is that the reboot series is the original timeline and the original movie is one of the branched timelines that formed later. There are too many differences for them to take place on the same timeline.

I totally reject the assertion that T2 was a better movie than T1. T2 had a blockbuster budget and good T-1000 effects... no way it was superior to T1 though

I have to say that it just tickles me how _Game Of Thrones_ alumni Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke both played incarnations of Sarah Connor. And on that note, I really think you should have included _The Sarah Connor Chronicles_ in this timeline analysis. It was a fun TV show to watch in its day, and it had some really interesting implications into the ultimate future war with the machines and its aftermath, with Shirley Manson's T-1000-ish "Catherine Weaver" representing some kind of split-off faction of Skynet rooting for the humans. If I had to rank every on-screen instalment of the Terminator franchise, I'd put TSCC right up there with the original movie and T2, above T3, Salvation, Genisys and Dark Fate. I mean, I think Dark Fate just borrows quite a bit from TSCC with its notion of multiple insertions of Terminators into the timeline, just giving us the shock moment of young John Connor being removed from the equation.

I have to say something about T2: I always liked the nice little attention to real-world engineering where Cyberdyne's model CPU is the size of a microwave oven whereas the T-800 CPU is the size of a finger. It follows a notion that electrical/computer engineers were familiar with for maybe 20 years at the time of the making of the movie, but maybe moviemakers and the general public not so much: That new computing technologies don't just get conjured up out of nowhere, they start off on a big industrial scale and get miniaturized as the technology matures.

I can see how this was a precurser to the chase scenes in the Matrix and The Dark Knight

I would love if they did another spin off series following the events of Aegon's conquest, or even one where we get to see Valyria before the doom. I kept my expectations low for HoD, after everything that happened with GoT, but it has really grown on me and I cannot wait for season two!!

He fiddles with a long doorknob, which is an emergency mechanism used for freezer rooms. Secondly, we can hear the sound of a door opening, but we see no change in lighting when the door supposedly opens up.

The thing that bugs me about the original movie is, SkyNet already knows time travel didn't work. Whatever happened in the past, it already happened. To anyone in the present, it counts as established history. If SkyNet had successfully altered the past and killed John, then John never could have become a threat. Since John survived and became a threat, SkyNet knows it failed to kill him. Therefore, time travel is no help.

Talk to me is a very impressive original horror film from last year that really really worked. Great script, great acting, great story, and great cinematography! My goodness, I love how this film was made by RUclipsrs!!
